Thyona makes a speech

Rise from the water

Emerge like a mermaid

Hair long, dress flowing, bags in hand

She is made of fire and ash

Her edges are so jagged

and her fear floats beneath the surface

The past it boils bubbles and brews

Dont look now the plane will land soon

The things which we leave behind have a way of finding us in the end

So emotionally charged

She takes her anger and throws it to the floor

and then her body follows suit thrashing her brains out to the ground

The sand digs into her pores, makes it all sting a little more

Lie down catch your breath

Is it really this hard to be understood?

So pick yourself up dust yourself off and put on that veil

or burn it to a crisp

This is her world now.
