My Singing Guide

My guide helps me breathe
In – 1,2,3,4
Out – 1,2,3,4,5,6

She places diamonds on the spots where it hurts
Corners of my hips where I hang tight to past wounds
The light of the moon is charged inside them
They absorb the pain

My guide teaches me to be kind to myself
She honors the light within me
She taught me that the whole universe was not surrounding me but inside me
When I go to that place inside me and she to the place inside her there is only one of us

Orange and red oils awaken my senses
(Red is my color, I have a fire inside my belly)
My third eye blinks open
It is the one who looks outside that awakens
The moon winks at me
So much power inside you he says
I weep tears of diamond
For happiness to be reminded
And pain for forgetting

My guide sings a song that unites as all in perfect harmony with the world

Honoring Your Nefertiti

She is made of papyrus

She cannot hide away

Her stories are written out

Across her arms, down her back

She is rough she is sturdy

Rainy days will not wet her

The wind cannot whither her

She remains the same forever

Her bones are made of onyx

They give her courage

She will always be prepared for battle

Though she may seem dark

She knows how to ease the pain

Her blood is the Nile

Giving life to the world

They are the tears of every woman

She worships nothing but the sun

She honors the goddess within

She is the lady of all women
